General
Lancaster on Ice ltd reserves the right to refuse admission to the ice rink and/or the venue and shall be to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of all visitors.
Lancaster on Ice ltd shall be entitled to request visitors to leave the venue at any time. Lancaster on Ice ltd shall be entitled to remove anyone from the venue who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol or who, in the reasonable opinion of Lancaster on Ice ltd, is conducting themselves in a manner inappropriate to their continued attendance.
Smoking, including E cigarettes, is not permitted within the ice rink or changing facilities. Only food & drink that has been purchased from the on-site bar can be consumed within the designated cafe/bar area. No food should be consumed within the Skate Exchange.
Lancaster on Ice ltd reserves the right to close the ice rink and access to areas within the grounds around the ice rink at short notice and without prior warning if necessary and the Lancaster on Ice ltd decision is final.
By entering the site visitors consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded as visitors of the ice rink, and consent to such photographs, films or recordings being used by Lancaster on Ice ltd to publicise the event in the future.
Skating under the influence of alcohol is not permitted and Lancaster on Ice ltd reserves the right to remove those deemed to be a risk to the safety of others.
Tickets
Children 12 and under must be accompanied on the ice by a parent or guardian over the age of 16 in the interests of safety. It is a parents responsibility to decide whether or not their child should be allowed on the ice.
Tickets include skate hire. Skaters may bring their own skates but management reserves the right to refuse personal skate use should they be deemed unsuitable.
Admission to the Ice Rink is by ticket only. All skaters must have a ticket. All tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
Concessions are available for NUS card holders but cardholders will be required to present their photo ID at the box office.
Tickets cannot be resold, exchanged, refunded or transferred. To do so or to alter or deface any ticket will render it void. It is the patron’s responsibility to check his or her tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified. Lancaster on Ice ltd will not be responsible for any tickets which are lost or stolen.
The ticket holder has a right only to a session of the value corresponding to that stated on the ticket.
Tickets are priced per one hour, specifically timed session and include skate hire. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your skating session. During peak periods (Thursday and Friday after 4.00pm and after 10.00am Saturday & Sunday), ticket holders should aim to arrive up to 30 minutes prior to their selected session due to increased numbers.
Each session is 45 minutes long, from the session start time. You will be allowed entry after the session has started but you will have less time on the Ice. Ticket holders will not be permitted to continue skating once their allocated session is over.
Skate Aids
Please note: Lancaster on Ice ltd has a limit of 20 Skate Aids on the Ice per session. As a result, Skate Aids can be booked on a first come, first served basis, at the Box Office, from 30 minutes prior to the start of each session. We thank you for your understanding.
Refunds
In the event any session is cancelled or curtailed, ticket holders will be offered an alternative sessions (subject to availability). This is an outdoor event and no refunds or exchanges will be given due to inclement weather. In the unlikely event that the ice rink manager deems it necessary to close the rink, alternative sessions will the offered subject to availability. If you have been removed from the ice rink or venue for inappropriate behaviour, you will not be offered a refund and will not be offered an alternative session.
Risk
Participating in Ice skating carries an inherent risk, any participation is totally at the users’ own risk. Anyone with any medical conditions, serious previous injuries, recently broken bones, knee or joint problems, head injuries, pregnancy, mobility problems, or taking prescribed drugs should carefully consider whether it is safe for them to participate without endangering themselves or other participants whilst skating. Lancaster on Ice ltd shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage however caused, except for personal injury caused by negligence on behalf of Lancaster on Ice ltd
Lancaster on Ice ltd accepts no responsibility for any personal property left at the rink or in the lockers.
